Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the T-group with live demo with Gilmore Crosby

Celebrate the 75th anniversary of the invention of the T-group with OD practitioner Gilmore Crosby. Like his father before him, whose first T-group was in 1953, Mr. Crosby traces his OD and his T-group leadership directly to Kurt Lewin. His book, Planned Change: Why Kurt Lewin’s Social Science is Still Best Practice for Business Performance, Change Management, and Human Progress, takes a fresh look at Lewin, organizing Lewin’s writing and methods in a new way. Mr. Crosby will explore the intent of the first T-groups, such as Ron Lippitt’s description of NTL as “a training center for teams,” and bring that exploration to life with a live T-group demo using participants from the audience.
