AI Tools for OD Pros is a fast‑paced, one‑hour session for Organizational Development practitioners who want practical, low‑risk ways to use AI on real client work, not theory. Grounded in the Action Research Model, the session will touch on how large language models, (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.), can streamline data collection, feedback, consolidating metrics & generating action plans that don’t appear as if it was written by AI, all while keeping the client relationship and human judgment at the center. Participants will see how AI can cut time spent on survey data, focus‑group summaries, and project charters by turning messy inputs into clear scopes of work, draft reports, and action plan options. The session also addresses AI readiness, governance, and “shadow AI,” giving OD pros language and simple guardrails they can take back to risk‑sensitive environments such as healthcare or AI apprehensive leadership. Attendees will leave with three concrete “quick win” use cases they can try immediately: building a project charter, summarizing diagnostic data, and designing high potential interventions. Throughout, the focus is on using AI to free 20 to 30% of OD practitioners’ time for higher‑value consulting and to better connect OD work to C‑suite determined metrics and business outcomes.
