The Chief People and Culture Officer, a newly created leadership position, will ensure MAYA’s team members are able to deliver exceptional results for partners by maintaining exceptional human resources and people support. In partnership with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) will lead the intentional development and sustaining of an organizational culture that fosters belonging and well-being, and aligns with MAYA’s commitment to be a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and anti-racist company. The CPCO will lead essential business functions related to human resources; talent management; learning and development; organization effectiveness, including culture, change, and transformation; and the overall employee experience. The CPCO reports directly to the CEO and is a key advisor and thought partner in designing and growing MAYA into a high-impact, sustainable, and inclusive enterprise. As MAYA’s reach and team grows, this role will have the opportunity to build a team to provide support to the whole organization. However, this role will start with no direct reports.
