VP Thoughts – Routines that work

My family is now more than three weeks back at school. Although the kids don’t love it everyday, I do! I can actually feel myself calming and thriving in our new routine. I’m getting up at the same time everyday. I’m taking my vitamins and planning meals. We are getting to bed at a reasonable hour. We are also making family time and time for homework and projects. I can see the benefit of this in my work as well. I’m scheduling my work flow better and have less disruptions with kids at home and chaotic summer schedules. The lesson here is that summer may be fun, but routine and structure help us grow!
